Every stop has a puzzle to solve using clues from the real place. You don\'t endure the tour — you live it.

Frequently asked questions

Q01What is a self-guided walking tour?

A self-guided walking tour is a city tour you take at your own pace without a human guide. Your phone takes over: GPS navigation, audio and written narration, contextual puzzles, augmented reality. OddballTrip adds the gamified layer — it's not a passive audio guide, you actively SOLVE puzzles anchored in the monuments you visit.

Q02How is this different from a classic audio tour?

A classic audio tour narrates with a single robotic voice while you walk. OddballTrip does that AND adds: puzzles at every stop, AR treasure chests, virtual historical characters who speak to you in your language with their dedicated ElevenLabs voice (each character has their own unique voice — the knight does not sound like the witch), magic golden letters that write themselves on real walls to reveal puzzle answers, a global leaderboard. You're an active player in your tour, not a spectator.

Q03How long does it take?

Between 1h30 and 2h30 depending on your pace and the city. You set the tempo — the timer only affects the leaderboard. Pause for a coffee, resume whenever you want.

Q04Do I need to be fit?

No, it's a 2-3 km urban walk on average. Accessible for kids from age 6 (with an adult), seniors, and reduced-mobility travellers in most cities (check the "accessibility" field on the game page).

Q05Which languages are available?

32 languages: 5 native (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian) + 27 AI-translated in real-time (Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, Greek, and more). Each player can play in their own language.

Q06Does it work in my city?

2,000+ cities in the catalog. If yours isn't there yet, pre-register and we'll email you when it's live.
