These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern all sales of products and services offered by OddballTrip LLC ("the Seller") on the website www.oddballtrip.com ("the Site").
OddballTrip is a platform specialised in selling outdoor digital urban experiences across more than 2,000 cities worldwide. Two categories of products are offered: (1) escape games combining puzzles, history and urban discovery (Article 3.1); (2) AR narrative audio tours without puzzles (Article 3.4, detailed in Article 4 bis). Both formats are GPS-guided digital experiences played on a smartphone.
Any order placed on the Site implies the customer's ("the Customer" or "the Buyer") unreserved acceptance of these Terms. These Terms prevail over any other document.
OddballTrip offers digital escape games playable outdoors in more than 2,000 cities worldwide. Each game includes:
Multiple pricing tiers are offered for each escape game, from 1 to 10 phones, with a degressive rate above the first phone. The exact applicable price is displayed dynamically on each game page.
The number of phones is the number of devices that can access the game simultaneously. Several players can share the same phone. There is no limit on the number of participants per device.
OddballTrip also offers city passes giving access to several escape games in the same city at a discounted rate. The specific terms of each pass are detailed on the corresponding product page.
Since 19/05/2026, OddballTrip also offers AR audio tours: a narrative format distinct from the escape game (Article 3.1), without puzzles or final code, structured in 6 to 15 stops accompanied by 90 seconds of immersive narration per stop. Contractual specifics (format, pricing, technical requirements, relationship with the escape game) are detailed in Article 4 bis.
The order is considered validated as soon as payment is confirmed by Stripe. The Customer receives a confirmation email at the address provided during the order. It is the Customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of their email address.
The escape games are digital products available 24/7. They can be started at any time after receiving the activation code, with no time slot to reserve. The activation code is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Since 19/05/2026, OddballTrip offers, in addition to escape games (Article 3.1), a second category of digital products: AR audio tours ("city_tour"). This article describes their contractual specifics. Articles 5 (price), 6 (delivery), 7 (refund), 8.2 (Customer liability), 9 (OddballTrip liability), 10 (intellectual property), 11 (personal data), 12 (complaints), 13 (disputes) and 14 (applicable law) apply identically to audio tours, unless stated otherwise below.
AR audio tours are priced per team (phone), distinct from escape game pricing. Starting price is €9 for 1 phone (unlimited players sharing that phone), with a degressive rate down to €6 per unit from 10 phones onward. The applicable rate is displayed dynamically on each audio tour page. OddballTrip reserves the right to modify these prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at order validation (Article 5.1).
Audio tours require an active internet connection throughout the route (4G/5G or nearby WiFi) as the ElevenLabs voice synthesis and AR overlays are streamed in real time from our servers. The phone battery must be charged to at least 50% at start. In case of prolonged connection interruption, the route can be paused and resumed later at no additional cost (the activation code remains valid for 1 year, Article 4.3).
For a given city, the audio tour and the escape game generally use the same physical route but constitute two distinct products in contractual terms. Purchasing one does not entitle to the other. A combined "2-in-1" bundle is contemplated for 2026; its conditions will be subject to an amendment to these Terms. In case of an incorrect format choice (audio tour purchased thinking it was a scavenger hunt, or vice versa), OddballTrip may accept, at its discretion and within 7 days of purchase, a code exchange to the other format with no refund.
Prices are displayed in the Customer's local currency (EUR, USD, GBP, etc., detected automatically), all taxes included. OddballTrip reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is validated.
Payment is made online via the secure Stripe platform. Accepted payment methods are:
The Customer's card details are never stored by OddballTrip. They are processed exclusively by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified platform.
All transactions are encrypted via SSL/TLS. 3D Secure authentication is enabled to strengthen the security of card payments.
As these are 100% digital products, delivery is made exclusively by email. The Customer receives:

If the Customer has not yet used their activation code (i.e. has not started the game), they may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Once the game has been started (activation code used), no refund will be granted as the digital product has been consumed.
To request a refund, the Customer must send their request by email to info@oddballtrip.com specifying their name, the email address used at purchase and the reference of the relevant game.
The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the request, via the same payment method used at the time of order.

OddballTrip cannot be held liable for non-performance of its obligations in cases of force majeure, including: natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, telecommunications network failures.
All content on the Site and in the escape games (texts, puzzles, scenarios, photographs, illustrations, logos, graphic elements) is the exclusive property of OddballTrip LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution or exploitation, in whole or in part, of these contents, without OddballTrip's prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited.
Personal data collected at the time of order (name, email) is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Wyoming.
For consumers residing in the European Union, the mandatory provisions of the legislation of their country of residence apply in addition, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
OddballTrip LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force at the time the order is placed. The Customer is invited to review this page regularly.
