Frequently asked questions
What is a city quest?▾
A self-guided adventure game in city streets. You receive a code, follow GPS-validated puzzles enriched with AR characters, audio narration and heritage storytelling.
How does this compare to Questo or GPSmyCity?▾
They invented the category. We added immersive AR (character speaks on real façade), 32 languages auto-translated, 11 narrative themes, no app to install. Strict superset on experience.
Play offline?▾
Partially. Map cached. AR character voice (TTS) and progressive hints require intermittent 4G.
How long?▾
1.5 to 2.5 hours of walking and puzzle-solving. Set your pace. 24h validity = spread over two half-days if you want.
Is a city quest good for solo travelers and first-time visitors?▾
Yes — most players are first-time visitors. The narration explains the city as you go, the puzzles give you a reason to explore alleys you would otherwise skip, and AR characters keep solo play engaging without needing a guide.
Can I do a city quest with kids or older parents?▾
Yes. Each route is walkable in 1.5–2.5 h with frequent café stops along the way. Difficulty is tunable: skip puzzles you find too hard, replay favourites later. We recommend ages 8+ for full participation, younger with an adult.
