La Superba and the New World
From the 12th to the 15th century, Genoa "La Superba" dominated the Mediterranean alongside Venice. Its trading companies reached from Caffa in Crimea to Seville. Christopher Columbus was born here around 1451, in the house preserved today near Porta Soprana, and began his maritime career on Genoese ships.
The Rolli palaces of Via Garibaldi, UNESCO-listed, recall this wealth, while San Lorenzo cathedral holds major relics and maritime archives. The caruggi still preserve the geography of trade: contracts, maps and secrets circulated through the lanes, some never archived.

At each stop, open your phone camera: an augmented reality character appears on the façade and speaks your language. Hunt the clue — it materializes as golden letters on the real wall or floats in front of you. When you find it, the phone vibrates, an AR chest opens and reveals your answer fragment. 8 stops, 8 clues to find with the camera, 1 final code.
The stops on your route are a surprise. You'll discover them one by one, guided by your phone, starting from the meeting point.
