Senj — Messengers of Nehaj

Your journey in Senj begins at the foot of Tvrđava Nehaj, a fortress built in 1558 by the Uskok Knights to defend the city against the Ottomans. This main tower, 25 meters high with its 217 steps, was the heart of the anti-Ottoman pirates' operations until 1616.
