« "Peace at home, peace in the world." »— — Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
In 1856, Sultan Abdülmecid I left Topkapi for Dolmabahçe, a 285-room palace blending baroque, rococo and neoclassical on the Bosphorus shore. The Bohemian crystal chandelier in the Throne Room, a gift from Queen Victoria, weighs 4.5 tonnes. For 66 years, six sultans resided there.
On 1 November 1922, Mehmed VI, the last sultan, boarded a British warship from Dolmabahçe. Atatürk made it his residence and died there on 10 November 1938 at 9:05. Every palace clock was stopped at that time — a symbolic gesture that endures.
8 stages through the city
The gameplay: AR, camera, hidden clues
At each stop, open your phone camera: an augmented reality character appears on the façade and speaks your language. Hunt the clue — it materializes as golden letters on the real wall or floats in front of you. When you find it, the phone vibrates, an AR chest opens and reveals your answer fragment. 8 stops, 8 clues to find with the camera, 1 final code.
The stops on your route are a surprise. You'll discover them one by one, guided by your phone, starting from the meeting point.
