Lost in the Norman night, united by courage
📱 1 to 10 phones · 1 team per phone · Independent codes
The 101st Airborne has an impossible mission: secure Utah Beach's exits before dawn on June 6, 1944. But German anti-aircraft fire scatters the planes, and 6,600 Screaming Eagles land across the Cotentin. In total darkness, a small metallic click becomes their only way to identify each other.
The paratroopers of the 101st Airborne carried a small metal toy: a "cricket." One click meant "who goes there?", two clicks meant "friend." In the Norman bocage drowned in darkness, this tiny object saved hundreds of lives. Tonight, you are one of these men. Your glider missed its drop zone. Find your unit before dawn.
You're not just buying an escape game. You're carrying a living guide — historical anecdotes, forgotten legends, key monuments, hidden architecture — unfolding as you go.

« "I'm not a hero. The real heroes are the ones who never came home." »— — Richard "Dick" Winters, 101st Airborne, Easy Company
The 101st Airborne Division — nicknamed the "Screaming Eagles" for the eagle on their patch — is one of the most decorated units in the US Army. On the night of June 5-6, 1944, its 6,600 men are parachuted over the Cotentin Peninsula with a crucial mission: secure the beach exits from Utah Beach to allow landing troops to push inland.
But nothing goes as planned. German anti-aircraft fire scatters the planes. Paratroopers land spread over dozens of kilometers, often in marshes flooded by the Germans. Some drown under the weight of their equipment. Others land in the middle of enemy positions. In total chaos, small groups form through chance encounters, united by the click of the "cricket" and the challenge phrase "Flash / Thunder."
Despite this catastrophic dispersion, the paratroopers accomplish their mission. They sow total confusion among the Germans, who cannot determine where the main attack is. At Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, elements of the 101st Airborne liberate the village and secure the road leading to Utah Beach. When the first troops land at dawn, the beach exits are open — thanks to these men who fell from the sky.

The gameplay: AR, camera, hidden clues
At each stop, open your phone camera: an augmented reality character appears on the façade and speaks your language. Hunt the clue — it materializes as golden letters on the real wall or floats in front of you. When you find it, the phone vibrates, an AR chest opens and reveals your answer fragment. 8 stops, 8 clues to find with the camera, 1 final code.
The stops on your route are a surprise. You'll discover them one by one, guided by your phone, starting from the meeting point.
