Your journey to decipher the cryptogram begins at the Shinkyō Sacred Bridge, a 37.3-meter-long vermilion lacquered structure built in 1648. This bridge, reserved for pilgrims to the Tōshōgu Shrine until the Meiji era in 1868, spans the Daiya-gawa River, considered the sacred boundary between the profane world and the divine realm. It is here, on this Important Cultural Property of Japan restored in 2013-2014, that the first enigmas appear, inviting you to cross this symbolic limit towards the heart of Kanto's heritage.
