The Gothic Lebuïnuskerk, built from 1334 with its 92-meter tower completed in 1540, preserves in its 12th-century crypt the foundations of the primitive church. Its 16th-century stained glass windows conceal the first clues of your investigation: symbols carved by copyist monks to identify manuscripts to save from the Inquisition.
The Brink has formed Deventer's commercial heart since 1227, when Emperor Frederick II granted the charter.
